Then we bought the stallion

He was a complete Sod and knocked me out a couple of times, he tried to mount me once as well but if you were firm with him he wouldn't bite you LOL and Stallions are personal and I know he loved me in the end, he just had to show me the ropes LOL

She was a real mover

So I did it again with a repeat mating

This time a filly

And just before he was weaned

Wow this boy was something else and went for huge money, didnt think it was bad for my 1st attempt

The colt growing

Beauty didnt come much better

But this one was a colt

Its a bit hit and Miss

This is me folks as a young lady and was quite a sexy beast back in those days

OK not really progressed with this I'm waiting for some pic's so be scanned of the farm I mentioned when I met Simon but was looking through old pic's and I hit on the early days and I didn't go into to the dogs blind as my other huge passion was the horses so I am posting a few pic's as I had a passion for beauty and balance way back then

Nell and her pup's

Dean Gale Sapphire turned out to be one of the best learning curves you can have she was an amazing character and to this day we haven't owned one since with her intellect but will hit on that another day. The photo though old and worn is of her, her 7 babies by Ch Rogue Saga and finally but not least our baby son Dean who was about 15 months old and from the word go we put the fire guard around Nell's box not to keep her and the puppies in but to keep Dean out, by the way Dean will be 19 in November...
Nell had some lovely pup's and her and Meggie (Nell's daughter) in the other pic can be tracked down to todays breeding and such bitches as Ch Cragailes Black'een, Duchess Black Beauty are just two that are well known today...
She had two sons of note that went onto produce good stock one being Storming Norman and Alport Evertonian Blue Boy
I will post some pic's of the older lines as we go along...

The Dogs

ALPORT HEIGHTS

There is some history leading up to how Alport came about but need another tag to continue that so will just start with our first Staffordshire Bull Terrier bought together, I wish we had taken pic's more back then but the in-thing was cam recorders and I do still have a VHS tape with lots of film on Nell (Dean Gale Sapphire)her puppies, Dean as a little boy as where the camera was Dean had to be there as well and finally some of the foals I bred, I will one day get around to having put on disc but I'm posting a few pic's of Nell and some of her children and how that same breeding can be found on todays pedigrees
Picture above is Old Nell and her daughter Alport Mowzer Meg we lived at Alport heights then or just below it so we then decided to apply for the affix of Alport.
Meg was by a dog called Garnetson He-man Himself 7 pup's born and the other 6 were black brindles accept for Meggie so we kept her we entered Meg and her brother Storming Norman was also entered at the East Mid's Champ show in Nov 1991 both were just 6 months of age and they both were placed 2nd so both qualified for Crufts and we thought we were on a roll LOL as this was our first litter bred as a couple
